Info: logs

Please post your full latest log file.

Background Info: One of the most helpful tools to identifying the source of a problem is your server logs file! Logs contain all sorts of important information like server and plugin versions, any error messages, and a lot more important information (More Info).

How To: Your log can be found in the logs folder within your server folder. The most recent log is a text file labeled latest.log. To get help using these logs, please open that file in a text editor and copy all of the text, then open https://paste.denizenscript.com/New/Log and paste the text into the box on the page. Then click "Submit" and copy the URL and paste that back into this channel.

Please do not upload the file to Discord or to other pastebin services, use the log pastebin linked above.

No, it's not

cunning juniper
#

why do you have skinsrestorer

little scroll
#

I use it to be able to change skins in-game

cunning juniper
#

are you on java or bedrock

little scroll
#

I'm on java 1.19.3

#

fabric

cunning juniper
#

update viaversion with that

#

should fix

little scroll
#

Alright, I'll try it. Thanks 👍

#

I'm still getting the error unfortunately

cunning juniper
#

i think this might be relevant to another user here's issue

cunning juniper
little scroll
#

When starting the server all the errors pop up

#

Whenever I join the server I also get errors in-game

cunning juniper
#

is it preventing something from working properly?

little scroll
#

I don't think so

cunning juniper
#

@tawny zenith is this related to #1061465494407880805?

#
  • both servers are using floodgate and geyser
  • just appears to be client packet related
#
  • both servers are using viaversion
  • camotoy suggested viaversion may be mishandling this as well
little scroll
#

I see, I could try removing ViaVersion as I don't really need it anymore.

#

I used to use it on 1.17.1

cunning juniper
#

viaversion is just a convenience for players who don't know how to, or refuse to update because of client mods
it's a good recommendation

little scroll
#

It seems like I'm not getting any Citizens errors anymore. I am getting many other (similar) errors though, involving packets etc

#

I'll try some things and see if I can fix them

cunning juniper
#

thank you for the context, this does seem that it's likely relevant to viaversion more now

little scroll
#

No problem and thank you too

#

I've updated some plugins and it seems to have been fixed. It's probably an issue related ViaVersion, yeah
