#The railgun ports have incorrect coordinates.

huh? how do you see this?
modding magic or smth
you never see those ingame anyways
those are modded corridors so it wouldn’t be surprising for the railgun to be affected by mods
ye
You're wrong, I can connect any part with heating network support instead of the corridor, it won't affect the result. Of all the parts, I only found this bug in the railgun. Here's a picture with almost all parts connected to the common network, the rendering error is only in the railgun.
#modding message
the misalignment happens when there is more than one thermal network in a part
since this is modded and railguns already share the heat between their parts to only need one connection, did you check that's not the issue?
I am not adding, but replacing the existing thermal network with a new one, but even if I add it to the existing one, this shift does not occur. I checked this on other parts and did not observe this anywhere. So, I repeat, the error is precisely in the graphic coordinates for the railgun parts.
I don’t think you understand either what I said or the word “wrong” but anyway what mod is this or is it one you made?
The mod is still in development and undergoing debugging. I am developing it, and it will be included in the already published mod. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3608238386
This happens because railgun has a second hidden part network that connects all railgun parts together.
As Celeste stated, visuals for networks are offset when there are multiple separate networks in the part. Normally it's not an issue because railgun heat ports are not connected to each other, so those heat connections aren't drawn anyway. But with modding, these issues become visible.
As far as I know, there's currently no way for us to adjust that behavior through rules modding.
