this would help with understandability but would be hard to implement and probably shouldn't be a priority
why would it be hard to emplament i would imagine it would just be:
draw a line from a engine to the end of the normal engine plume if 2 engines lines intersect then rotate each one so thay nolonger intersect and then curve the exoust plume tward the end of the line
you would want to change the rotation of the plume based on many factors like thruster number and force. That would be a lot of checks, especially because thruster force changes so much

not take in to acount any of that
or you could just like make it so if 2 lines are intersecting you stop the rocket texture thare and make a entirely new rocket exoust texture faceing the direction both are pointing
