#Missile plume for visibility and coolness

The plume effect would get affected by zoom differently, causing it to appear bigger at further distances

Worth noting the processing and visual noise issues that come when there's 200+ of these in the air
(sprite i used, slightly modified cannon overclock lights)
rough mod that applies it without the special zoom features
processing as in pc power or as in visual processing?
I meant the previous but the latter could be an issue as well

if its a sprite like overclocked large cannon (and my example) it should'nt be too much of a issue
i was previously thinking something like resource dots, but i feel like leaning into the lens flare type of thing makes more sense
i think it doesn't make too much sense for he to get this, but it would make heat missiles a lot more distinguishable
i think HE is the most needed for a visibility thing
it doesnt need to be a fancy plume it could be the resource dot idea (maybe we can have triangle missile indicators like ace combat or something)
simple test but i dont think that would be much of a problem

(this assumes far away zoom, the plumes would be smaller if zoomed in closer)
If there are a billion missiles coming at you they don't need extra visibiliy, you're gonna notice
zooming in closer helps you tell the shapes apart but i feel like this colorful show would be great
both for individual missile/group missile visibility and overall graphical enhancement

there is no blue weapon, so maybe make he thrust blue and bright?
