I think if those part are not damaged, maybe we don't need to show the little hull bar when you choose it -- since it will not give any effective Information since its undamaged, when you choose amount of module, those green mask and green hull bar will cover the ship ,affecting the visual experience.
Also, when change the headlight color, those green mask will covering up many lighting effects makes this adjustment less intuitive, If we could add an option to turn off masks or simply reduce the transparency of some masks, it might make a significant difference.

Those hull-bar are not necessary to be here - since they are not damaged, and hull-bar can not give any information's like their max hull point or some quantifiable information, however it will occupying a large part of the view field and making it difficult to see other modules clearly.
It could be like this —— just show the damaged part's hull-bar.

I can find the 'overlay_part_selection.png' 【So i could change the Alpha of it】, but I didnt find the hull-bar.png Maybe its based on shader? Im not sure about it)
hmm maybe there could be a method that changes the apperance of the selection box based on the part's health instead of there being a health bar
though idk how that would work exactly

There is also a setting to disable the health bars entirely. I have it on to see the shield status of my ships which would otherwise be obstructed from my selected weapons health bars.
what he want is not removing the health bar, but the health bar of modules that are full HP
