#Improving Power Delivery to Boost Thrusters

My ship design uses two boost thrusters as it's main engines. After boosting, the crew grab power from the storages and attempt to power the engines. However, they insist on powering one boost thruster fully, before trying to power another boost thruster. This means it takes longer for the ship to accelerate forwards or quickly use a follow-up boost in emergencies.

Desired result: When two boost thrusters need power, half of the crew will attend to the left thruster, and the other half will attend to the right one.

Current result: All the available crew will try to power one thruster fully first, then try to power the other one.

Immediate thoughts are that this is a logistics problem that can be potentially solved through crew assignments and/or power assignments. Could you post an image of ship internals?

This is a recording of the problem in my ship design. 🙂

Barracks are efficient in regards to space taken up and cost, but lack the precision of bunks and quarters, which is generally intended.

You could also consider adding an engine room and placing the thrusters adjacent to it, as the engine room will distribute energy between all attached thrusters (relatively) evenly.
