I'd like to suggest a tactical weapon called "Crossbow Cannon" or something, this cannon would be probably be bigger than deck cannons but it acts like the basic small and large cannons, its arc is similar to flak battery (or flak array)
Its projectile is something like a big and long arrow/spear, if the cannon shoots this projectile at enemy ship's buildings, the projectile gets unstuck if that building got destroyed
The debuff that the projectile gives depends on what building it got stucked into...
Ex: if the projectile hits...
- a hull or anything, it adds weight to the ship, making it heavier and slower
- a shield projector, it block shield arcs (specifically for large shield projector) and decreases shield's HP, the projectile is a "solid" thing
- weapons/building with arc (cannons, pd, blaster) will get "stuck" meaning they cant aim and act like Railguns or ion beams
- a thruster/engine room, their efficiency is decreased as well
Just like I said, this is a tactical weapon so its more like EMP missile or disruptors, idk if this should deal a decent damage cuz its a very big spear/arrow.
Also, projectile travels in decent speeds and consumes 15~ ammos per shot, and some it "punctured" the ship, its a bit of AOE
What do you guys think? Would a ship being shot by a lot of spears/arrows would be funny?
