- When having symmetry enabled but one copy of the part cant be placed the other(s) should be placed regardless. This occurs mostly when trying to place doors.
- There should be the following option: Trying to delete a part which would disconnect stuff from the rest of the ship just deletes all disconnected parts instead of doing nothing.
#Make illegal part placements in build mode less annoying

I personally really like the limits to part placement. It gives a reminder to disable symmetry when there's a slight assymetry, and it prevents me from accidentally removing half my ship because i forgot a connection
When you have crew construction enabled the latter would be especially annoying since the order of destroying everything is already sent.
part 1 is good
Part 2 may be annoying if you accidentally do it but part 1 is good
you can cancel orders
2 is meant for creative
I can so doing this with doors specifically, but I'm hesitant to do it with other parts. What if you could hold a key to automatically enable blueprint mode if a part can't be built?
Doors are where this is most relevant anyways imo. I just suggested it to work with other parts cause I though it might be easy to generalize.
I agree with this (Even for door), made me better at hitting M and being mindful of symmetry
Better to add it as a toggle or though cntrl+delete, because some people may get annoyed with accidentally deleting big chanks of the ship
