yeah disabling copying ships may be cool
Is the ship library really that useful?
it encourages you to have many different budget meta ships i guess.
I'd say it's fine to have the library tbh
I think its fine too. You could in theory try to memorize all importat modules. Id prefer the library over that.
You still need building skills of your own since its not feasible to plan for every different setting and every 5k increment you get.
Well In the only game I have played so far they happened to get LC and then only used LC dom ships the rest of the time and it wasnt (that) fun
honestly i like the ship library it is true people can spawn in ships but at the same time you cant unless you unlock all the tech
Imo not that many different variations
If there's a tourney im fs making my own ship library for all the different budgets and unlocks
The point of the random part offerings is to prevent using predesigned ships, at least in the later rounds.
I think you underestimate how much work people are willing to do to be lazy
I'm not sure if there's enough randomness to allow that
The point in the middle can give pretty small credit increments but it didnt come into play much even with just 2 players. Doubt it will get captured more with more players.
The intent of the capture point is to encourage players to fight early instead of waiting for the RoD to close in. It's not really expected to actually be of much consequence.
all it takes is one LC blueprint and its DOM ships the whole time...
