#mines can be pushed

imagine shooting a ton of mines into a cargo bay and then shooting them with tbs at the enemy
that would be cool
I want mine Trebuchet!
… boom?
big boom
yeah i was thinking of making a ship to yeet mines but not the old mine flingers which is not very reliable in accuracy and also the mines just take forever to arm
small detachable part of your ship with 4 boost thrusters that can fire mines at supersonic speeds from your cargo bay?
I think we will need a max mine limit per launcher
there is already a limit per launcher, since mines last 1 minute, the limit is how much mines you can launch in one minute
1 minute isnt enough imo
wow i'm sure explosion gun 2.0 will have no balance issues
That would be so op lol. Youd have to also implement stronger mine repulsion.
But that would make mines even weaker
Time to make short range shotguns
hell yeah
shhhh dont expose my plan
i mean ig mines could have extra weight to them so its not so easy to just push it around, wont rly affect normal usage
mm
i wonder if it would be laggy to have that many objects with collision bumping into each other
hm idk cosmoteer is surprisingly low lag
u can shake around a ton of tiny triangle debris and its fine
how much are we talking?
idk
oh i got a fancy idea, imagine if there was a cargo bay full of mines and then you have a spinner (with blades) stuck in place rapid firing all the mines out
I think the mines should activate once away from the ship and then target indiscriminately, but I'd like them to have object collisions until then and possibly have them all be affected by TBs.
if mines get weight, there could be another type of mines :
heavyweight magnetic mines - don't explode but weight a lot and stick to ships, so ships that fly into them get slowed a lot and become more vulnerable
