This is probably gonna be stretch for this game lol but I still wanna put my idea out there.
We already has asteroid fields and graveyards but maybe we can have different sections of the solar system as different space biomes. Some resources like uranium maybe more abundant to certain biomes. There can be different effects within biomes (like the sun's deadly zone) such as meteor storms, irradiated zones etc.
Maybe even organic life (fauna and flora) living in certain asteroids? space civilizations that built their structures inside megaroids for you to trade with or destroy? there's so many ideas and possibilities but probably too hard to make this come true.
