Directly proportional to an objects/ships distance from every Planet, Star and Blackhole (When added) it will slowly accelerate towards these objects until they stop in the middle of the sprite.

Asteroids would be made immune to this function to prevent a system from becoming barren of resources after a few minutes.

This addition would force players to either tow wreckage away from a star or do on-site salvaging, it will also act as a self regulating debris clearer as anything without powered thrusters would slowly fall towards a star and thus be destroyed making EMP weapons very powerful when near these celestial objects

If it is pulled towards a planet then it will have no effect on the object itself and could provide players with dedicated salvage areas as debris slowly pools around planets.

This is likely a very flawed idea however i figured i should throw it up here while i remember it.

TLDR: Have every ship move to the strongest source of "gravity" at a speed relative to each object, provides unique combat situations and prevents debris from being spread across a system and leaves it clumped in a few areas.

Stations are usually to always around planets so don't think it should apply to them

And hyper jump relays would have to be made immune

#

Then again they are made of the asteroid blocks

Think it would be good just for stars and blackholes

Yeah probably

#

Lagrange points would probably strain the game a bit too much

I think this should only apply in places like a star redzone
