#More UI customization Options

pretty sure there is an option in settings
I’ll look again but I didn’t see anything for size
There's no option in settings, but you can resize all ingame windows like that by dragging their corners. It doesn't persist when the window is closed and reopened though which can admittedly be a bit annoying.
would be nice to have a slider for the part folders, when you have a lot of mods, it covers the whole screen
There is actually a setting for how many rows of parts (up to 3) to show in the ship editor.
not the parts themselvs, the folders they're in
when modding some mods add folders
the section the parts are in
they can really pile up
taking up the whole screen
theres isnt really a way to fix it
(not yet)
well there is
via the UI scale option
but that makes things harder to see
and some people dont really have the eyes to deal with that
Yeah something like that would be awesome.
I think the main building/crew/... sidebar is sadly one of the only menus which can not be resized by dragging.
Having these window sizes and positions saved would be cool but not that much important.
But yeah having multiple building rows for example would be very helpfull^^.
Next thing I would very appreciate is having a auto Ui scaling for stats when they do exceed the window size.
As you mentioned many players do use BIG Ui scales (prob because Full HD is still mainstream).
But they often can not see all part stats which is very sad I guess. They also often just accept that and do not know that there would be a fix for that or yeah just do not want to use the other UI scaling for all stuff.
Tho in 5-10 years we all have 4k monitors I guess.
But then the stats will also be like x5 the length 🙈😅😅😅
Vanilla already noticed the issue, too. And went for horizontically stat additions which is okay for one thing/overclocking but easily gets into the same issue
