@zinc moss , sorry for the @ but i seen you online as a moderator, I just spent over an hour typing this idea and it told me it had too many emoji's and deleted my post?

I basically just used the resource emoji's to signify what resources certain aspects of the idea would cost..... Is there anyway this can be restored?

I just spent a lot of time piecing together stats and values for this idea of 2 different ammo types and armor types. Literally just used emoji's like rsSteel and rsTristeel credits rsDiamond

I'm guessing not.... This is very frustrating, spent nearly 2 hours typing up this idea...

I've seen a few discussions on armor types, but I thought I'd drop them all into a single idea post as well as provide some useful values for each armor type.

Standard 1x1 Armor (today's armor)
Value: credits200
Resources: rsSteel+8
Mass: 3 tonnes
Hit Points: 4,000
Pen Resist: -6 meters
Area Damage Resist: 50%
E.M.P Resist: -1 power drain

New armor ideas:

Light 1x1 Armor
Value: credits100
Resources: rsSteel+4
Mass: 1.5 tonnes
Hit Points: 2,000
Pen Resist: -3 meters
Area Damage Resist: 25%
E.M.P Resist: -0.5 power drain

Tri-Steel 1x1 Armor
Value: credits400
Resources: rsSteel+8 rsTristeel+1
Mass: 4.5 tonnes
Hit Points: 7,500
Pen Resist: -8 meters
Area Damage Resist: 75%
E.M.P Resist: -1.5 power drain

Additionally with some new armor shapes as well before in the ideas channel here. Most importantly I feel would be the opposite of "Armor Triangle". A concaved or inverted Armor Triangle, for some pesky corner designs.

Now for ammo types and factories. Currently we have on ammo type. Ammo. So lets settle some "stats" for ammo as the game is currently. As the ammo stats change per weapon type, we will focus on a percentage change to that value depending on what types of ammo you decide to use with that weapon. So standard ammo will do what the base tooltip says in-game for each weapon however we have a new stat for ammo similar to missiles. Damage Area.
