We all probably know about the self destruct button. Once it's active there is no turning back. And the left over debris? It's stuck in self destruct mode and you can't repair it.
But what if we could. What if we could have the game paused and freely switch between them? What if we could let the ship explode a bit or watch the asteroid disolve a little and then stop it?
It wouldn't need any ui changes, the same buttons that trigger it could also turn it off.

Why would you stop a self destruct sequence...
Well... why would you use such a thing at all?
Mainly uses in creative. Damage testing, fun with asteroids, kamikaze ships. Just an option that enables us to both have some control over the explosive fun and to avoid big mistakes without reloading.

If you somehow misclick self destruct, that is entirely on you 💀
aight, but the creative stuff still counts. :D
Why not set a custom self destruct countdown, like in the movies.
