#Show Current Output Damage on selected ion prisms

if you enable Dev Mode, i believe you can see the damage of prisms
This is true
well, you shouldn't have to open dev mode in order to see a little percentage indicator similar to how we already get for adding railgun modules
fair
some way to see it in the blueprint mode would be awesome, but that'd require being able to aim prisms in blueprint mode
to, you know, tell the game what to show you xD
Might be a tad tricky to implement due to the nature of how the beams work, it's not quite like railguns. Ideally, all we'd need to do is highlight the final crystal output and it would give us a percentage number based on the ion emitter's damage. Numbers might go wacky when ion capacitors get involved tho
yeah ion capacitors are a bit... of an edge case
maybe it'd be able to detect a loop and just tell you that you've created an ion loop
You can solve all your issues with capacitors and such, by just using the op's suggestion.
You turn on your ions and check the prisms.
it doesnt even need to show the theoretical maximum power -- it'd arguably be more useful to just show the dev-mode actual current output normally
just do the math yourself
Not really a useful option for those of us bad at maths
Not to mention it’s also annoying, what’s UI for, right?
