While the current selection is nice and fun (rip mines tho), I'd love to see more options for the launchers in general.
AP missiles that pen the enemy with no explosion. Swarm missiles that fire fast tiny accurate missiles that do low damage but can counter PD and overwhelm shields. Dumb fire rockets that're fast and hit like a truck, but don't track targets at all. Incendiary missiles that do nothing to the ship if they hit armour, but set a large internal section aflame if they hit "soft" parts. And once crew boarding gets implemented, boarding torpedoes would be hilariously amazing. As well as maybe virus munitions that gas out the ship, leaving it mostly undamaged and salvageable.
Might need to make new launcher variants and or combine factory types for some of them. But it would be an easy way to add more spice to combat imo.
Hell, could scale missiles up to a late game torpedo weapon selection too.slow but powerful weapons.
