performance and optimization is literally the first thing on the roadmap
that doesn't mean u can't suggest to optimize specific aspects of the game
iirc the game processes crew in a manner where it has to check every tile of the ship from their quarters, so it scales barely with large ships and the game deliberately slows crew down to compensate
although it would require a big recode, there is massive potential to optimize here from how it already works
got a question for you
are you playing with framerate uncapped
if you are
cap it to like, 60 fps
and see what that does for you
Capping fps will not improve performance
Only time you can imrove performance with this is when you have too much fps and you dont need it, then you can cap it and it will decrease the load on gpu and cpu
Altough there are some exceptions to this, in general capping your fps will not help you with preformance but it can help you with quality
please check if your drivers are updated.
