I realized how the capacitor is kinda bad at its current state, you place 3x batteries in, and out comes 1x. Not only that, they just still need crew to carry them to the desired location.

So the idea is, to have a 3x3 capacitor, that not only has more storage, but also outputs 2x batteries. Maybe there can also be the wireless power transfer like the engine room but idk about that one.

you put 3x batterys in, and it comes out as 3x 1's, you put 3x into a PD you waste 1, so you split the power and you get more juce

same for rails

even shields like capacators to feed them 1 energy at a time to make them stronger

and as for wireless, probably won't happen, the engine room is not with out its negatives, that is more power consumed

But that would be a cool idea, some sort of energy grid core, all shields in a set radius around it get the supply from it (like + 50% more power, 100% more energy per min)

you have dedicated crew outputting and dedicated inputing, i see no problem with them being 3 times more

Speed is the way to play small ships, it should not be the only way to play big ships. And whatever weapon is there in the game it being able to just oneshot a T18 ship vs its front is just hilarious

if you want, you can interlace armour with spacing so the nukes aoe has less effect

well, if you want to discuss balance, i would advise else whare in one of the ideas

you are abusing the fact that all Ai ship are made for front vs front battles, they are not good at man manoeuvring, while that is a nice way to do it limits the overall possibilities in ship layout

whilst i am not opposed to the idea of a bigger capacator that produced 2x, i do dislike the auto power stuff

Minus the power transelfer I think having options for capacitors to feed the 2x and 3x's would be nice in some situations

well i honestly dont care what the solution for op nuke shredding is but i would love to see something else than manoeuvring into the blind spot. Like i dont want to make a 8M ship with 250 shield, 200 pds so i have to doge a 3M nuke ship cause it wrecks a hole in me

you will need about 50 layers of amour then to face tank nukes, if you really want to

Or make the capacitor room to auto-feed connected devices that are not engines

nukes counter big slow ships, nothing much else to say about that

but nukes are really quite funny i tested the cabal T18 vs the monolith, it was a close battle! Then i swaped all front HE launchers from the monolith ship to nukes and it almost one shotted the cabal T18 lol
