They shouldn't fire when their line of fire is obstructed, so it should not matter too much, I think
allowing fire arc restrictions would be nice but the ui on that would probably be really painful

Of course, it does currently work that way, just more so the build block area could be removed ( except for around the gun barrel itself ) and rotation lock calculated that way as you can see from where I can't place armour

so if they are blocked like that, they would never aim to face the armor
yeah, and it would allow you to make them more defensible from a design perspective, being able to fill up dead space
u have to either show every arc (lots of stuff) or have to do each weapon individually

we literally only deal with the range to select from like 0-180 degrees
if you want to show 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 degrees as options to set for weapon
well then ....
for every weapon
the game already shows you arcs for every weapon though?
and whats the problem again
