Basically an in between of a railgun and a large cannon.
But also a branch from deck gun.
Basically it takes power too, has the accuracy of a railgun, Is a turret about one size or so larger than the large cannon, still only takes 4 ammo, and it needs power to fire too.
Basically just cannon that acts like an energy weapon, kinda like a railgun, not really.
Y’know what I mean you can balance it.

I would recommend trying some of the mods on the workshop, So far the experience with the well developed mods is great

They're basically just short-range railguns with a larger attack angle.
They make cannons useless.
I would honestly prefer the devs spend their time on something more interesting than just another railgun or cannon

More multi-block weapons seems like the way to go with this building system
The ion beam and railguns are fun to work with since they give you far more customizability and flexibility compared to the other single-block turret or cannon weapons
