It is indeed layerbased
but being able to toggle between the main clusters would be nice
how cluster 2 (somewhat) works for instance
and the music was made by Dubwood, @broken nymph , kudos to him :D
the music was thought of and composed with exactly the opposite of this request in mind. so no, sorry.
i think what he means was, i want cluster 1 playing, and then all of the layers that would go on with that
the music was made to be immersive, not to be a jukebox.
since i have yet to even hear cluster 6-8 atm
yup. I understood what he meant, and thats exactly what the soundtrack is made to not do
On a side note, the music of this game is amazing. Kudos to whoever composed it.
Thanks Ambir
fair enough
if anyone want the jukebox version of the soundtrack, there is spotify/bandcamp/applemusic/youtube (soon!)
hmm, i don't think it was properly articulated actually now that i think about it
the idea I had even before starting to make the soundtrack, and that is a theme all through it, is that some tracks are rarer than others, and some tracks are very rare (one is 0.7% chance to play during a 3h session).
to create a jukebox function just defeats that, and as a result my entire motivation to make the soundtrack
oh
i see
so it was
i guess i shall appreciate the ones that appear less often then
i was not aware of that
yeah, the rare tracks are full of easter eggs and references
well this has certainly explains why i never heard some, and when one does pop up its nice... sorry if it could've been percived as an insult to the intent
and it works (since no one have spotted the blatant (so I thought) Iron maiden reference yet
not an insult at all, I get why people would like a jukebox function.
its rather me who is being rigid and unflexible in allowing such a function and I am sorry for being so, but fun is an important factor for my creativity and I need to fuel it somehow.
now i gotta see if any have a reference to the FTL soundtrack
triggered
yep yep, i understand, i just originally thought each cluster was tied behind each zone or their abouts, my apologies
but now i understand a bit mroe that its % based over time
thanks for understanding.
The main keyword I had in mind for this soundtrack was (I should say is, because its not finished): "Imprevisibilité"
Motivation doesnt like to come easily, yeah
well VERY good musicpooqqnp you are a very good musician
also i SWEAR I SEE YOU EVERYWHERE
