Please. Walt. Please. I love playing career with the homies, but when one them decides to die 9 minutes after an autosave having to reload the entire save hurts. It hurts my soul and their feelings when I finish yelling at them. I believe a good system would let players start a new ship and use the credits the player has currently towards building a new one or buying a pre-made. I realize in your road-map Shipyards are on that list and will probably solve this then. Just makes it hard to enjoy career coop when we're challenged with something we cannot do. Respawn. Thanks, love the game already spent my entire free time and future free time on this game.

I have played 15 or so hours of this game total and with the homies. We are new, but rather enamored with the game. Something we would appreciate is the ability to adjust the penalty for dying. Right now it's very punitive, and it'd be cool if we could
- Respawn at closest starbase when dead, original ship repaired, and able to loot our own corpse (exploitable, but good for new players)
- Respawn at Starbase, original ship debris removed, and all credits/ cargo removed.
- Respawn at Starbase with starting ship and resources. Your debris are removed. Tabula Rasa + friends to help get your progress back.
- When dead, your credits are set to 70,200 or 50,000 or whatever.
- When dead, another player gives you a ship and credits (current functionality).
Additionally, when a ship is destroyed, the player can be prompted on what they want to do if the destroyed ship is not thier final ship. This could be "respawn ship at base, or convert into credits worth 50% ship value" or something.
Furthermore, being able to have new players "spawn" would be appreciated. Basically, if I can start playing multiplayer campaign by myself, then have a friend spawn in later with thier 70k credits/ ship (instead of me needing to boost them one) it'd be great.
