Whether a block supports transparency or not is unfortunately decided by the game, not by the model.

Ive already gotten that far, but does anyone here have experience with this and can show me how to make it transparent?
You can't make it transparent since nothing in a pack controls that behavior.
Unless you wanna rewrite the opaque block shader to also support transparency.
