If you’re using generic format, then it’s hidden because you can use the Scale tool from the transform toolbar instead
Yeah, it's only for cubes, not meshes.
you guys are amazing, thanks dudes
understood, thank you very much broda
If you want to infate a mesh, simple select all faces, Shift+E to extrude, and select uniformity for a similair result.
shift + E isnt working for me, should it open a config or smth like that?
Right click your selection and find the extrude function maybe it's a different keybind for you.
It won't matter in your configs becuse you aren't selecting faces
oh
You're selecting the whole mesh/element. Also it appears that you're using cubes.
not really
how do i select the faces, then?
maybe after adding a texture?
Using Face Selection
Or Cluster Selection in this case will also work, because you're trying to select all faces across multiple meshes
understood
Yes it's right next to the Object select mode tool that you currently have enabled.
oh found it
yea i had to add in the tool bar
got it dude 🙏 🙏
that was pretty pretty helpful dude, thank you very much
np
It would probabaly be easier to make those models using cubes over cuboid meshes in the future, and only switching to a mesh when needed.
whats the actual difference between both?
With cubes you won't accidentally make them noncubes, also resizing them is a little easier.
You can convert cubes to meshes but can't convert meshes to cubes.
Also Minecraft won't be compatible with mesh stuff in 99.9% of cases.
dang
welp, it's for a roblox game
yea i noticed with the inflate tool
it's way easier
so i'll have to redo the whole thing if i want to make it with cubes?
IDK if it matters for you.
yea i really want to make it functional
That's a roblox question I'm pretty sure you'd be fine.
pretty sure but since there's this situation with the faces colliding, i think it's a better option to just redo it, it'll be kinda easy tho since i have all the dimensions, just have to put them into the cubes
anyways thanks bro that was pretty helpful
Sure, and of course that overlap can be fixed by inflating by 0.01 or -0.01
