Custom armor models with nexo or oraxen possible?

Hello again, this is my 2nd post.

I wanted to design some custom shoes for the server, I was wondering if models for armor are possible with these plugins, or any for that matter. I dont want to use any mods (Optifine if absolutely necessary) and was wondering if it's doable, given you apparently cant change armor models besides helmets with texture packs. Thank you!

custom armor models are not possible without any client side mods.
-# besides item models in the helmet slot, and some cheesy workarounds for stuff on the back of the player by having an entity ride the player via plugins and display the model

So no, custom shoe models are unfortunately not an option.

Damn, even with plugins like nexo or oraxen, they just wouldnt work? I thought it's be possible with them. :/

yes, it is possible with nexo and core shaders, you could check it's wiki

Well, core shader editing isn't officially supported technically, so I usually don't mention that

yes, it breaks in future updates and is unstable, its painful but possible. Was already done by some servers tho
