i made a plushie model of my skin based on the model of (sorry cant remember) and made it the totem (the outline is a plugin)

  1. why is that damn outline shaded even if in BB i remove the shade checkmark, and how do i stop it

  2. in blockbench you can change how the model is viewed in first, third person, dropped, item frame, ecc...
so why when saved it ignores how i position the model in first person and uses the ones of the third person view

2nd immage howis how i see the outline in BB and how i want it to look in game
help and thanks

and yet their model has no shade in game and mine does,

from what i see the models are the same in BB

#

i can send the 2 models

no idea how that is so bright ingame, caues the model doesn't even give the outline a light emission value

#

oh, they overwrote shaders

#

so their outline color probably is like alpha 254 or something like that

#

at least based on this part in the shader 🤔

Use the bucket tool, set it to "Colors" fill mode and "Erase" mode, then set the oppacit to 1 and click onto your outline color in the texture once.
(that way it goes from 255 to 254). You won't see any change in Blockbench itself.

lets try that

if you then Alt click into the texture it should tell you the alpha value of that pixel in the oppacity field there.
-# example after alt-clicking here

#

As long as it's 254 or 253 it should work from what I can tell from the shader (without being visibly see-through).
