Available, but I never really worked with particles either.
Afaik they are for particles made in "Snowstorm".
Tbh I wish that Blockbench had its own Particle maker or that Snowstorm had a website like Blockbench's ;-;
But thanks for telling me
Snowstorm is also made by Jannis.
But particles use Minecraft Bedrock specific logic and are not only bound to models, hence separate program.
Sounds a bit complicated ;-; ugh whyyy ;-;
Why does it sound complicated?
Would you want Microsoft Excel and Word be one program too?
I don't use Excel ;-;
But you know what it is approximately, right?
Not really ;-;
Google Sheets?
Not to sound stupid but Nope
hmm, let me think of a different example then
Like Hallow Knight and Silksong being two separate games instead of one combined game which is what Team Cherry originally planned?
Nah, those are 2 games (2 separate games that have nothing to do with one another (as in nothing you do in one affects the other)).
So not really working as example here, cause Snowstorm isn't a separate model editor.
Ah alr
Would you combine a calculator and a messaging app like Discord into one app?
Snowstorm is for making particles, yes.
I meant to say not Just lol-
Blockbench can display said particles in your animations for preview purposes.
Yeah, Snowstorm is only for making particles.
Are there alternatives for Snowstorm? I'm on mobile and tbh Pc Blockbench doesn't feel the same
Depends on what you wanna use those particles for in the end.
Snowstorm is the one I'm aware of and most people use.
So just for Blockbench animation, nothing external? (Minecraft, Blender, etc.)
Cause then I'm pretty sure you are stuck with Snowstorm.
I mean, yeah, but why would you wanna manually type .json based particles instead 🤔?
-# assuming we are still talking about particles for use in Blockbench
Honestly I shouldn't have asked abt the Particles ;-;
It's smth I probably shouldn't get into because of Mobile ;-;
And from what I know Snowstorm is on PC only so yeah ;-;
Yeah, I can't really help with phone stuff. I'd never use my phone for modeling etc.
