!faq backups
🖥️ The Desktop version of Blockbench (by default) creates backups of your projects every 10 minutes.
To access them, go to Help > Open Backup Folder, and search for your backup in the folder.
PS: The interval and how long old backups are kept can be changed in the Blockbench settings (File > Preference > Settings > Application).
📱 The mobile/web version (and the desktop app) saves a backup if the model wasn't saved properly before exiting the app.
You can access the backup on the start screen after reopening the app.
you should be able to find the backups folder like this
I actually closed the model itself, the backup doesn't fix that, I've been trying to fix it. It didn't save the model.
the backups don't care if you manually saved the model or deleted it after saving or never saved it
I can't find backups, I've checked everywhere
I'm doing what it says and it's not working
"it's not working" as in the folder is empty or what?
I'm mobile and I've been trying to get it back, I've done enough stuff that the recovery thing just brings back what I just had now
It don't wanna work for me, blockbench is just not letting me into its saves
It just deleted the model I was making to remake him, idk if there is a "hide the delete tab function" because I have missclicked 100 times and deleted something I just finished and didn't save, and my memory is terrible so I don't think to just randomly save
As it says on the bot message, mobile/web has no "backups" like that
