please help me
make a new skin model in blockbench then convert it to the format you want to use
but then I have to make a 1 to 1 cow model like in Minecraft and I'm not very good at it...
what
make a new skin model in blockbench, select cow, then convert it to the format you want to use
It will never say "JSON" in the export options.
Cause .json is a generic file type, so one .json could be a model another .json could be a shopping list.
"Bedrock Geometry" exports as .json, but not as a .json you use in Java, but one for the Bedrock Edition.
Hence why Ewan told you to convert to the model format you actually wanna use in the end.
File > Convert Project
so I have to download it as bedrock geometry and convert it? @surreal knot
firt Convert Project. Next export?
yes
convert to java block/item? (this is supposed to be the new mob in mod)
?
@surreal knot
Is a mob a block/item?
Then why would you wanna turn it into a Block/Item model?
i don't know
What should I convert this to? It's supposed to be a mob in the Forge 1.20.1 mod.
Modded Entity
keep in mind mods do NOT use .json files for mob models though
-# so don't ask me why it's not exporting a .json file later
I know, but I need json to upload it to MCreator.
no
you don't
if it's asking you for a .json for a mob model you have clicked something wrong
I never used MCreator, nor do I speak Polish, so I can't help you navigate MCreator
I for sure know though that even MCreator mods do use .java mob models, not .json
Make sure you aren't accidentaly making a Bedrock Addon with it
And make 100% sure that it's not asking for, for example, a model for the spawn egg item or similar.
I never used MCreator
