When I save a blockbench project it lets me save it as bbmodel and also a bunch of pngs of all the textures i have made.

is it possible to save the project as a single file instead of so many pngs?

or maybe like just set the project's folder so that i dont have to pick a directory for new textures each time?

oh, but why do they even appear?

And people might wanna reuse certain textures or edit them in other programs for example.

#

So having them only inside the bbmodel file would be counter productive for those cases.

#

So it gives the option to save them.
If you use Ctrl+S that's also the shortcut to save unsaved textures (as .png files).
