You can very easily do this by just having 2 cubes and just erasing parts of it if it makes sense
For the head
Rather than using individual cubes to make the headshape, use 1 cube and texture to have the same effect
Like what you see for the lips of the bear
You don't use 2 individual cubes, use 1 cube and just sculpt it out if that makes sense

10 cubes isnt that bad, most mobs in the game are or close to 10, even the chicken has like 8 cubes, and im pretty sure the warden also has 10
