  1. this is the java channel not the bedrock channel
  2. do what exactly? those images are just showing resizing a cube and dragging a texture onto a cube

  2. Bedrock Entity models only support 1 active texture, hence you cannot have a separate "reference image" on a separate cube like that.

Entity model formats only support 1 active texture, and hence the texture gets applied to every cube

Afaik there i no way to have them like that in Entity formats 🤔

You can do that in other formats that support several textures (like "Generic Model" or "Java Block/Item" etc.)
Just not in Entity formats that only support 1 active texture.

alternatively you could work in a side view, then apply that texture as background instead
