Yes

#

I'll recreate it and say if it works or not

Are the display settings set correctly?

strange remnant
#

I believe so

#

I created another helmet and its still backwards

The second image is the back of the character

tall salmon
#

oh

#

is that just a normal Block/Item model?

strange remnant
#

Yes I think so

File > Project

#

It will yell you what model format you are in

strange remnant
#

It is a block/item model format

#

I converted it from a skin model

tall salmon
#

cause if the cube is that high up it would never be positioned like that ingame on your head without any display settings

strange remnant
#

No I didnt change anything

tall salmon
#

how are you putting that item on your head?

strange remnant
#

Wdym?

tall salmon
#

what item is that and how do you get it in the player's head slot?

#

with a command? is it just a carved pumpkin? etc.

It's a helmet I am using MCreator every other armour piece works except for the helmet

tall salmon
#

k, so it aint a normal Block/Item model then unless MCreator somehow converts that

tall salmon
#

if it's just the default armor model it will just take your texture and apply it the same as if it were a vanilla helmet
so if your texture isn't layed out like the default one then it will look wrong ingame

#

I mean like on blockbench I am using block/item model

for .json and .java

Yeah

Then this either isn't a Block/Item model or you aren't showing me your armor model (.java) here.
