well, first off minecraft doesnt have curved pieces. the horns should be replaced

the eyes are possible in minecraft, but they should be flat with the head for a more minecraft feel.

the nose shouldnt have indents but should just be a darker for the nostrils.

use snapping

try not to move them alot with proportional editing, it should only be straight lines for a true minecraft style.

try to stay pixel consistant, especially around the mouth edge, it should be thicker. press shift and then one of the axes (x,z, y) when scaling to ignore that one axis so that the mouth wont go inward and you have to move it forward again, resulting in uneven lines.

if you really cant keep it straight while scaling or moving, press the axis twice ( xx,yy,zz) to move it along the local axis instead of global.

if you want things to stay in line press g, b, then an axis to move it along. you can line things up easier that way

try to texture in blockbench as a general model to avoid weird things like the first image.

use hue shifting on the texture instead of just darkening it with black.

this was more of a tutorial than minecraft style basics.. but it should help atleast a bit
