Asset Browser

A simple, easy to use Minecraft asset browser for any game version!

This plugin lets you browse the assets for both Minecraft Java and Bedrock edition. You can open them in Blockbench, or externally!

Features an advanced file browser, with proper multi-select support, grid & list view, file sorting, and file searching.

This plugin needs testing! Please test it, feedback to me about it, and report any issues you find. Thanks!

Plugin download (right click & save as, then drag and drop file onto Blockbench): https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ewanhowell5195/blockbenchPlugins/refs/heads/main/asset_browser/asset_browser.js

Plugin can be accessed via Tools > Asset Browser or via the Asset Browser option in the textures panel

Question about asset browser, if I use a block from the source file does it keep all its code, eg hitboxes etc, asking cause i’ve seen people making functioning stairs now on bedrock

what

Ok so you know how bedrock can’t use “complex hit boxes”

i barely know anything about bedrock

Bugrock can’t have anything that don’t function like a basic block

#

Fences have base block hit-boxes and stairs can only work like half slabs

#

But some people have been finding ways to make it work so i was wondering if it was cause of asset browser
