if yes there is a reason it's disabled by default and there is a warning in the description of the option

You'd need to make an inverted copy of your model (Double Sided Cube plugin can help out with that),
Though that might be shaded differently ingame on one hand.

#

Alternatively in 1.21.4 and newer you could have separate models for separate display slots

eager igloo
#

"might" cause ingame shading is weird and sometimes stuff works as one wants it to work and sometimes it doesn't 🤷‍♂️

ok just needed to know there is a chance, thank you!

the link for what? the plugin?

tardy ingot

yes pls

eager igloo

you can find plugins in Blockbench itself (unless they are exlcusively external)

#

that plugin is one that is in the official plugin "store" (not something where you buy stuff, but idk how else to call it)

FAQ
Blockbench: Plugins

Plugins are community-made tools that can be installed under File > Plugins in Blockbench. Most plugins add new features into the Tools menu (previously called "Filter") at the top, but there are also others that add new import or export options under File > Import/Export or similar.

The full plugin list can be viewed here: https://www.blockbench.net/plugins

More info about plugins and how to create them yourself (with Javascript) can be found here: https://github.com/JannisX11/blockbench-plugins

it's an option in the "Tools" menu/tab

ok ty

eager igloo
#

it duplicates your selected cubes and inverts them (so they render inside out)

tardy ingot
#

im a bit confused

#

so i invert the cubes, and then it will appear on the other side in the other hand?

tardy ingot
eager igloo
#

hence why you could see the inside of your claws and arm

tardy ingot
eager igloo
#

you won't need to adjust anything display settings wise

#

all you need to do is use that plugin on your model's cubes so they get duplicated and inverted and save it
(only use the plugin once, else you have a bunch of unecessary duplicate cubes)

tardy ingot
#

ok thank you!

only works with per-face uv projects

tardy ingot

File > Project

#

converting to per-face uv shouldn't affect the texture at all

tardy ingot
#

no i mean the double face button

#

it messes up the texture

tardy ingot
eager igloo
#

i don't see why changing to per-face uv would change it like that

tardy ingot
eager igloo
#

?

tardy ingot
#

i think i figured it out

#

it quite literally inverts the texture

eager igloo
#

it inverts the cube and flips the textures so it's the same thing again

#

if you have flat cubes with a north and south face don'T select those

tardy ingot
eager igloo
#

flats should already be double sided technically

#

unless it's a flat that has only one face

tardy ingot
#

nvm there is a tool for it

@eager igloo i got it all working with the inverted stuff, now how to i put it at a negate value? because it only goes to 0
