I've done it
despite the utter and absolute lack of help it turned out amazing (imo)
HELPPPP I TRIED IMPORTING THE STEVE MODEL AGAIN FOR SIZE AND FOR SOME REASON IT FUCKED THE TEXTURE 😭
ctrl z won't fix ittt
I fixed it by changing the texture size to 256 x 256 but now it's like this
IT'D BE REAL NICE IF ANYONE ACTUALLY CHECKED THIS
It was 2-5 AM in the middle of the night for most of Europe, so you can't really expect to get help from that half (or whatever percentage) of the userbase.
Furthermore, not everyone is experienced with entity stuff, and the more you complain about it (be it passive or active) the less likely people wanna help.
Nobody gets paid, you want something from others, so you need to be patient.
Understandable but for the record it is currently 3:40 am for me and I'm nauseous have a headache and pissed at blockbench lol
I managed to finish the model but lost all hope when I remembered I have to animate it 😭😭
If you get that emotionally invested in a program that you are physically affected by it that's a different problem.
I can understand that struggling with a program you might be new to can be stressfull/annoying if it doesn't do what you expect it to do. But in such cases it's better to be patient and don't force it.
so you don't need help with that problem from earlier anymore or do you still need help with it?
You make it sound like I need therapy for it I was just explaining why I was mad abt it lol
Still need help with the grid thing and the original reason for creating this post but I'm to exhausted to do so rn so behold my magnificent spider crab while I try to sleep
not saying you need therapy
just saying you shouldn't fixate on it that much and maybe go at it at a slower pace perhaps
when you said you set the texture size to 256x256, do you mean you changed it here?
Ik I'm just saying that it's not as bad as you're making it sound and it was reasonable to get frustrated temporarily after breaking a texture you spent a while making (even if it was bad)
Yeah
🖥️ The Desktop version of Blockbench (by default) creates backups of your projects every 10 minutes.
To access them, go to Help > Open Backup Folder, and search for your backup in the folder.
PS: The interval and how long old backups are kept can be changed in the Blockbench settings (File > Preference > Settings > Application).
📱 The mobile/web version (and the desktop app) saves a backup if the model wasn't saved properly before exiting the app.
You can access the backup on the start screen after reopening the app.
Didn't even know there were backups (╥ ω ╥)
Thnx lol
Who the hell would use the mobile version 😭😭
That sounds like it'd be beyond frustrating
Surprisingly a lot of people without PCs.
and yeah, would never touch that myself either
