Please somebody give me a quick tutorial on how to make hexagones
Format: bedrock geometry
Isnt there like a plugin that does that
Do you mean like 3D modeled hexagons or textured
3d modeled
This in 3d
For item/block models, not possible (due to the rotation limits).
For entity models, you'd just model it, though I'd not recommend it due to the performance cost such a model would come with.
My recommendation would be to just texture the hexagons.
I'm using entity model yeah, I will still try to model it cuz it's not impossible and I'm trying to improve my modelling skills, that's kind of a good challenge. Also I don't think it would affect performance that much
well, if you wanna model that whole grid then yes, it will
cause that will be hundreds of cubes in the end
I played with a timeless and classic (1.16.5) ressource pack which changed the model of the ak and replaced it with another one that had this handguard
I didn't notice any frames drop
But may I just know how to make an hexagon?
Please
Ok nvm, I will use a reference picture
Thanks for the help y'all
you use 6 cubes and rotate them 60° and stick them together
and they modeled each hexagon? or did they do it with a texture instead?
A single of these guns likely won't cause issues, even with hundreds of cubes.
But a chest filled with them?
Also, Entity models are a lot more performance heavy than item models.
If a resource pack remodelled something, it was most likely an item model.
I just found the model and they made holes in the texture
I just didn't remember that
It actually worked, thank you :)
