So Transform > Rotate > Rotate Y doesn't work for your case?
It breaks all my rotations
What if you just rotate the "all" group?
That’s what I did
Or do you mean to just rotate it -90
Instead of transform
this
I did that as a temporary fix but if it were to be animated wouldn’t it break a lot of things?
Besides internal value stuff like "looking direction" related stuff I can't think of anything right now that might break 🤔 (then again, I don't really do anything with the modded entities either)
I would ask the person I’m doing this for if that would work but it’s for an application form and he otherwise doesn’t seem to respond
Why doesn’t blockbench just have a way to reorient where north is
Would that be any different from transforming the rotation
because North is North
and rotating everything by 90° is technically "reorientating where north is" (cause it makes no difference if you rotate everything by 90 or if you rotate everything else by -90)
Well it does make a difference where the blocks originally face as far as I know
With the animations and whatnot
But is rotating “all” the best I can do
I meant with Transform > Rotate, though idk why it breaks visually for you 🤔 (ignoring UV ofc)
I’ll try sending a video
None of the rotations actually change which way they were facing
The only things that rotate are the ways the blocks face
ah, I think it's cause it doesn't touch group rotation? (might be wrong though)
does that mean I can individually transform each cube and then figure out the folder rotations after?
it's cause it rotates the cube by 90 (by resizeing it), but the rotation of the group still applies the same as before, hence why it looks broken
