That's cause you have a Java Block/Item model project open
Different model formats have different options and restrictions
huh? I designed my project under bedrock blocks.
or are you telling me that I might've installed the Java edition BlockBeanch download?
Oh, I somehow thought we were in the java edition help channel. My bad.
Oh wait, nvm
I'm saying you opened a Java Block/Item project, NOT a Bedrock Block project
actually, seems like Bedrock Block has a Display setting too now 🤔
is display another word for animation?
no
ok
Display is how it's positioned in the hand etc.
I don't think blocks support animations.
ahh man that suck, I was trying to create my own TNT block with a animate fuse. with a low fire animation like the torch particle animation.
So the only way I can do this is restart from scratch but put under generic model & do the animation from there? or can I just copy & paste?
not "Generic Model"
Generic Model is not for ingame use
oh
And you can use File > Convert Project to swap formats.
For the Bedrock Edition you need to use Bedrock project formats.
okay thank you
