im currently trying to edit the model of a block from a mod, but it doesnt support transparency, how can i make it transparent? - forge 1.20.1
asking here if i can just do it in the model, if not ill ask in a modding discord, thanks in advance 🙂

I think forge has a line you can (manually) add to your model to make it support transparency, lemme check real quick

adding "render_type": "minecraft:cutout_mipped", in the root of the .json should do the trick if I'm not mistaken

(so same depth as "parent" and "textures" etc.)
