Is there a default split-screen option on launch option I'm missing? | Blockbench | Page 1

Hello everyone!

I'm rapidly loving Blockbench and frequently using it in my workflows now quite a bit! One minor annoyance I'm encountering is I always have to re-enable split-screen upon relaunch. I understand you can assign a hotkey to switch the layout. But having a preference for this seems common sense. Asking here as a sanity check before requesting in #bb-feedback-archive. Is there one I'm just missing as I go over the UI and documentation? Or is there no option for this behavior/function as it is currently?

my solution (not the best nor ideal) is to keep the program open forever lol

I don't believe there is, it's a per project and session option

If it was per project it would persist upon project file loading. That's not the current behavior I'm experiencing. It's session only. I'll close it when I have my feedback and feature request posts ready to go.

Per project and per session, by session I mean the duration the file is open. I belleve if you have multiple files open and set different split screen settings for each would work

it does not behave in that manner. the split screen layout persists across all open projects
