#Models positions are weirdly off

Hey there, pictures should explain it plus this.

Image 1: X & Z positions and pivot points have decimal points and are aligned with the floor below it.
Image 2: X & Z positions and pivot points have no decimal points, but are aligned with the wall next to it.

Why is this, can I fix it because it's making rotating things really annoying.

Yeah this is really weird both of these are on the same grid size and don't have decimals but they don't line up, I think this is a bug...

@young meadow really sorry for the ping but I thought you should see it, seems really weird

Server: Dont Ping

As stated in Rule 9 in #info-and-rules you shouldn't ping random people or moderators for help with Blockbench/Minecraft (unless you specifically need that one person because of an earlier conversation).

I’d recommend snapping everything to a grid so all pivot points can line up which makes building easier

Right now things aren't lining up but nothing has decimal points in their positions or pivot points, which makes zero sense

Maybe your parent folder moved?

fresh siren
#

No, they are all in their own parent folder, once again they're all of by a decimal point BUT there isn't any decimals in the positions

Cool was about to say that, I can check that out once I get home

ig that just how a shape center is defined

will be another story if you use cube instead of mesh

fresh siren
#

Thanks, ill try remaking the whole thing using cubes

cube comes from minecraft modeling system, or sort of. That's it, position is defined by two corner so in your case they always are whole number.
Or ig you can convert them to mesh and export.

Anyways I suggest not toworry about decimals unless you have a better reason...

so long as the three size value are whole number, you shouldn't worry much
