as the title says, I cannot seem to get the UV mapping correct. As seen in the image, the boxes are not perfect squares, how do i fix this

The pixels will be stretched if you use cubes with decimal sizes with Per-Face UV

If your cubes are not nice numbers (they have decimals), and you are using Per-Face UV, then your pixels will be stretched.
You can fix this using the Auto-UV button (one of the buttons under the UV map) or by making your cube sizes whole numbers.
