Could you elaborate on it causing significant performance issues?
My friend said, if the mashes are individually separated. It has been said that when animations are given to each part individually, there is a serious decrease in performance.
In fact, the method of animation in Block Bench is different from the animation method of game assets.
It should be non negligible if you're reasonable with how you rig things
From my experience BB's method of animation is more performant than skinning
Could you please give me a link to some academic material about this?
I would like to inquire about this matter.
I would need to know what engine/game engine you're using to inform you about that. However you can look at the Roblox documentation for some comparisons between the two styles of animation
I am using Unity and Unreal.
I need some information about Skinned Mesh instancing for different game engines.
