this is what it looks like right now, i want the brown cube to be more stretched to the right and left

maybe 0.3 (refering to the cubes in the ground/the chessboard) to both sides, how do i do this?

you can hold ALT while scaling it to make it scale in both directions on that axis

and you can ofc combine that with Ctrl and/or Shift to resize it in smaller increments
