Just split it up at the end
so just split the mesh up into parts?
would that make the ends of the split parts come apart? i want them to bend.
Yep!
The parts come apart a lil bit but use the Roblox capping method to hide the seams
You can't rig with a mesh by itself, each limb has to be in its own group as it's own cube/mesh
found that out the hard way
guess ill have to make arms and legs that dont look weird when they bend
You mainly just have to set the pivot points realistically, and cap the joints and you should be good
how does that work? im currently splitting up my model to rig and idk how to close up the hollow part D:
is there a tutorial or anything you could point me to? im a total noob to this stuff 💔
No unforcheneltly
I'd reconmend filling the hole, extruding a little bit, then merging the extrusion
or scale down the extrusion
i dont know how to fill the hole is the thing 😭
Select the edge loop
ok
turn on line select mode, select two lines of the same mesh, right click, press create edge or face.
you can't do it with cubes
when i do that it doesnt create a face it just creates a bunch of random edges
you have to be specific about where you want the face to be made, it'll just make one in whatever the shortest distance is.
maybe making the face like this would make clean edges? it'd be the red first than the blue
idrk im new too
where are you getting the merge meshes option from and how do you select multiple edges?
i made 2 meshes
its bc im using the browser version maybe?
shift click to select more than 2 things
ok i think it worked? thank you for your help!!!
