What hardware and OS are you running Blockbench on?
Macbook Air M1 chip. I restarted with hardware acceleration disabled and this still happened.
What OS?
Sonoma
That’s odd… does reinstalling and restarting fix it? I cannot repro so I’m not sure what the culprit is but reading the log you sent it looks like Blockbench can’t make a connection with the GPU
I still get the error after reinstalling
How about restarting your comuputee?
If reinstalling it doesn't work, I don't think that restarting my computer will work. The web version works, though.

Somebody please help me!
I can't use Animated Java because of this!
It's still happening even when I restart my computer and reinstall the app! Please help me!
I can't use Animated Java due to the fact that I can't open the Blockbench desktop app.
Is there a reason you can’t use the web app?
Animated Java doesn't work with the web
Do you have any idea how to help me?
OK, I know the exact reason why this is happening, I just don't know how to fix it.
So apparently WebGL is disabled through these "flags," though I can't find where they are and modifying chrome://flags doesn't do anything. So far, the only way that it seems I can fix this is by unpacking the Blockbench source code and hardwiring in my new flags every update. I don't want to have to do this, and I wouldn't know how to anyway. Can somebody please help me with this?
This is what clued me into this
You can build your own copy so you don't have to unpack it
but I don't really know how to modify the source code to add this, and I'm not even sure if it'll work.
That's the best solution I can think of sorry :(
I'll think about it and will get back here if I find anything
thanks for your help, anyways.
Something to suggest is just building a local copy and seeing if it works
