any clue on how to convert a 256x256px texture from (x16) to (x32) while retaining the 256x256px?

i mean like, changing the resolution that the blocks use for the textures to be like the x32 skins

going to use the extra space for additional textures on the model but with the same higher res

maybe scaling the uvs per face to be 2x without having to make the model twice as large?

k, correction, not File > Project..., but Rightclick the texture then half the UV size values
